Hummers are back!

Hi, everybody!  So sorry I have not been posting. Been very busy here.  The hummingbirds are back!! I have been seeing male Ruby-throated hummingbirds.  They are so beautiful!  Did you know that male hummingbirds come back before female hummingbirds? I will try and get pictures next time I see them. Tell me if you have seen any hummingbirds or other fun birds lately.   Happy birding!

Bird Lore

We went to a Discovery Place event called Bird Lore it was great! We got to watch a documentary on North American birds that had gone extinct.  It was very interesting.  We saw Owls, Pigeons, Ducks and Chickens.  There were many different booths set up.  My favorite was my friends booth, Bird House on the Greenway.  We had a great time today! MY NEW BIRD!!!!!!

Hi everyone as you can guess by the title I got a new BIRD!!! His name is Sunshine he is so cute! We got him yesterday and he is very shy right now but some training and he will be fine. Thats all I have today.  Happy birding!

Hello! So sorry about the hold up.  We have had a beautiful hawk perch on our feeder lately.  Sadly I have no photo of him :(  I will get a photo of him on here soon! Happy birding.

Feeding frenzy

Today I saw lots of birds.  My dad said he heard a owl but I did not hear it.  I also saw lots of juncos and a towhee it was a feeding frenzy! I saw male and female white throated sparrows.   Hope you have been seeing lots of birds happy birding!
